Mark Loye
Expert in Environmental and Workplace Mediation Services
Mark is a principal at OvalOptions and the executive director of Jefferson County Mediation Services (JCMS). He has been instrumental in building the JCMS program and mentored more than 1,500 mediators. In his role at OvalOptions, he leads marketing, networking and panel-development efforts (and serves as the company sage). Mark is currently working on the expansion of OvalOptions locally and nationally.
He has over 30 years of experience in alternative dispute resolution where he has focused on multi-party environmental and public policy, land use, business, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)/workplace, real estate, and task force and group facilitation. Mark has been an EEO mediator for the U.S. Postal Service's REDRESS program in the Colorado-Wyoming District for more than 20 years.
He has conducted training seminars in dispute resolution for the federal government, county governments, municipalities, including the State of Colorado, Jefferson County, Adams County, the City of Westminster and the City of Lakewood. Mark has also led training seminars for the U.S. Postal Service, private training organizations, community groups, businesses and at professional conferences.
Mark holds a bachelor’s in biology from Stanford University, a master’s in ecology from Cornell University and a master’s in public administration from the University of Denver. He has completed over 500 hours of conflict resolution training.

Fun Fact:
Mark has played the trumpet since fourth grade! Today he performs in the Denver Concert Band (past president) and the Lone Tree Symphony.
