You control the outcome, not a judge or magistrate.
Divorce can be a tangled mess, wrapped under an avalanche of frustrations and stress. A decision from a judge or magistrate may not seem fair or complete and rarely ends the relationship completely. Add to that court fees, lengthy delays, and scheduling pains.
OvalOptions, located in Denver's Western suburb of Wheat Ridge, can help bring your marriage to a civil and fair conclusion.

The OvalOptions Difference
What makes us different than other divorce mediation services? While our mediators are attorneys, they are trained and experienced mediators first. This means that they do not push you or the other party toward a settlement just for the sake of a settlement. Our goal is to help the parties develop their own settlement and our mediators have the experience to caution against unfair or biased terms. We apply collaborative methods to find what is best for all parties.

Both parties agree to use our mediation services
The mediator who best fits your situation will be assigned to your mediation
A mediation session will be scheduled and carried out (if another session is required or requested, we will move to schedule it)
If an agreement is reached, a Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) or other form is drafted. Divorce cases often call for a Separation Agreement and a Parenting Plan. Sometimes other forms may be necessary or desirable.
What happens in MEDIATION IN DIVORCE?
When you and your spouse are caught in a turbulent divorce and you feel that you have exhausted all resources and have reached a threshold where nothing is getting resolved, it is time to consider meeting with a mediator. Mediators use methods of alternative dispute resolution that help you take back control of your life by negotiating a fair settlement peacefully and affordably. More importantly, mediators offer a mindful way to help you move to the next chapter of your life.
How long after mediation is divorce final?
Mediation is a time-saving alternative to court, and with the assistance of mediators the finalization of your stressful divorce can be as short as three months, whereas if you decide to get bogged down with a contentious court battle, your already time-consuming divorce can be dragged out anywhere from 12 to 18 months.
How long does mediation take in a divorce?
Divorce can be extremely painful and difficult and doesn’t always end the relationship (children, property, finances, etc.). A mediator will help navigate complicated factors typically within a couple of four-hour sessions. Since not all cases are the same, some can be more complex and might require more time to complete. Others may require less time.
then what happens?
An agreed-upon divorce through mediation still needs to be filed with the court. We can walk you through the process, or if you have legal representation, then they should be able to help.
