Argument is a form of persuasion; a competitive method to assert control over another person. Arguing can be addictive, perhaps even fun, yet it prevents the realization that once engaged, it’s a losing effort. But, this doesn’t mean that constructing strong arguments is a bad thing. Through the tenets of conflict management, we will illustrate how this seemingly paradoxical stance can help transform differences into progress. This will not be comfortable for you. You may not experience “good feelings.” And that’s the point. It is interactive, so prepare to be challenged.
